BIOGRAPHY

Red River Day Care is a studio project by Austin TX musician/songwriter Danny G (The Mother Truckers, Ironclad, Shandon Sahm Band, etc). The purpose of Red River Day Care is to push myself as a player (I am playing all instruments) and a songwriter by composing intricate multi-guitar oriented intrumental songs. I would soon like to take this music to the stage and perform it live, either with a fixed line-up or use the name RRDC as a blanket collaborative project and play each song with a different established band. Just trying to think outside the box as a musician and stay visible as a player in Austin's Red River music community. In the meantime I am writing/recording music that doesn't quite fit with any of my current projects and talking to friends about a possible line-up.
